The world's most advanced scenario training equipment
HIGH GEAR® helps people understand the chaos of close-quarter combatives and force-on-force training. What you do in training replicates what you must do in the real confrontation.
Treat Yourself. Get Certified For Free.
Order two complete HIGH GEAR® suits and your SPEAR System® Level 1 Certification is included — the $1,000 course, at no cost. Financing available through Affirm.
Every suit is handcrafted in the USA and takes six to eight weeks to build. Order soon for Christmas delivery — the closer we get to the holiday rush, the harder it is to promise it's under the tree.
To claim: after ordering, send your proof of purchase to highgear@blauertactical.com and tell us you want the Level 1 seat. We'll register you for the next Level 1.
Shop Complete SuitsReal Speed. Real Contact. Real Feedback.
Gear that is too bulky does not transfer impact, so feedback and pain management are never introduced in training. Penalty is a key component in creating risk/fear in training. HIGH GEAR® is deliberately called impact reduction gear, directly implying that impact will result.
Tactical Evaluation
Train, test and apply tactics in real time, at real speed, in real environments.
True-to-Life Scenarios
Allows the role-player to replicate all levels of resistance, from verbal and subtle pre-contact cues to all-out assaults.
Integrated Training
Can be used for empty-hand defensive tactics, combatives, and even force-on-force with marking cartridge rounds.
Impact Reduction, Not Impact Elimination
Smart foams and molded plastics dissipate impact while still transmitting force to the wearer. You feel it when you make a mistake. That is the point.
Jab, cross, hook, uppercut, kicks, knees, clinch, grapple, takedowns, ground fighting, control tactics, cuffing, weapon retention, batons — in duty gear or street clothes, worn over the suit.
An important safety document will be sent when your order is placed. To ensure proper use and enhance safety during training, this safety document must be read by the person responsible for using HIGH GEAR®. Full details will be provided at the time of purchase.
Accept No Substitute
There Is Only One HIGH GEAR®
HIGH GEAR® has been copied in three different countries. Knock-offs do not carry the same warranty or the integrity of the original design, and they do not have Coach Tony Blauer standing behind them. If you are buying impact reduction gear, buy the one the discipline was built on.
Made In The USA
Every suit is handcrafted in the United States and Berry Compliant — not sourced, not licensed, not assembled overseas.
On GSA Advantage
HIGH GEAR® is on GSA Advantage under contract 47QSWA20D001M, held by Lionheart Alliance, LLC. Agencies can purchase the original through the schedule.
The Original Design
Designed by Coach Tony Blauer, who pioneered impact-reduction gear. Backed by our 90-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and by our name.
